Victoria Brodie has a 23-year history in the field of communications, public relations and marketing. With a focus on strategic communications for leaders in a rapidly transforming world, Victoria’s varied experience includes: website strategy and renovation, product development, company visions, corporate brand strategies and integrated public relations campaigns. She is the founder of Brodie Consulting, located in Riverside, California, and is the Visiting Professor of Public Relations at California Baptist University. She has a bachelors of science in communications, and a master’s degree in public relations from CBU. In addition, Victoria is currently pursuing a doctorate in organizational leadership with Pepperdine University. Victoria has experience as a professor at multiple universities, traditional and online, teaching topics such as public speaking, public relations, social media strategies, communications, and ethics. In May 2017, Victoria was a guest lecturer at Guangxi Normal University, Guilin, China, presenting on strategic communication.

Striving to impact her community and profession, Victoria currently served as President for the Public Relations Society of America Inland Empire Chapter in 2017, and as a judge for the Society’s National Bronze Anvil awards in 2016 and 2017. She has chaired the first day of the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce Leadership Riverside program for the past eight years, is a past president of the Chambers’ Magnolia Center and East Hills Area Business Councils and also serves on other GRCC boards and committees.

A proponent of lifetime education, Victoria sat for three years on the Riverside Unified School District’s Budget Advisory Committee, including acting as its elected chair in 2010, and is a former member of the RUSD Measure B Oversight Committee. Victoria has served with former Riverside Mayor, Ron Loveridge, as business liaison for Mayor’s Night Out, and was co-chair of the 2010-2011 United Way Campaign for Riverside County. Victoria also served as Second Vice Regent of the Presidio Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution where she is a founding member, and has served as a YWCA of Riverside County board member in 2008-2009.

Victoria has been awarded the Riverside Hero Award in 2011, received the community engagement award after raising 50k for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society in a ten-week period. She was awarded the 2013 Woman of Achievement for the YWCA of Riverside County, and was also the 2014 American Cancer Society Inland Empire’s Celebration of Life Honoree.

Victoria is married to David Brodie, a retired attorney in Riverside. She has two sons, Josh and Jordan. Victoria, her husband Dave and their dog Bella live in Riverside.
